Welcome To AmericansNetworkingToSurvive.org (A.N.T.S)

Shortly you will receive your group and map replies. Just follow the directions on them to get set up. After that, you will want to go to the A.N.T.S website and familiarize yourself with the level 1 and level 2 guidelines.

You will also want to go over the A.N.T.S icon color codes page. The color codes are used during disasters and to help identify inactive ants.

Check out the A.N.T.S job descriptions page as well. You can volunteer for any of four jobs during a disaster.

And that’s it, you are all set. The only thing you are required to do as a member of A.N.T.S is change the color of your icon every six months.

Active member icons are blue or purple and change every six months to identify inactive ants.

They are blue from December 15 to June 15 and Purple from June 15 to December 15.

Inactive icons are removed from the map on May 15th and November 15th respectively.

There is nothing else you need to do. The only time you will notice us is during a disaster that has affected one of our members. If that happens, you will see us jump into action using our agreed-upon guidelines.

You are now a member of A.N.T.S and can edit the map when you are ready. As a member, you do not have to place an icon on the map, but you should know how to use it.

If you want to place an icon, watch the videos below and place a street icon or an intersection icon.

Street icons are for members who will leave a distress marker in their driveway if they need help. And intersection icons are for members who want to leave a location marker at an intersection.
